I have accumulated over 12 years of experience as a finance manager in various sectors ranging from financial services to health care, waste management and community development.
I am currently (started oktober 2018) active in the latter sector as financial administrative manager of Stichting Fonds Ontwikkeling Binnenland, a government agency in Suriname responsible for the development of communities in the interior. As financial administrative manager I am responsible for the management of the finances and administration of the agency and the executed community development projects.
In my previous 4,5 years experience in the health care sector, I have worked at the St. Vincentius hospital (in Suriname) as administrative coordinator of the Emergency Room and taken on the additional responsibility of head of hospital admissions.
As treasurer of the board of the company Stichting Waspar (in Suriname), I was appointed to oversee its financial management and help improve company overall performance. These tasks and responsibilities were carried out for almost 2 years.
My experience in the financial service sector has been for almost 2 years, where I started as a collection officer and shortly after got promoted to financial manager of the credit union 'Spaar- en kredietcooperatie De Schakel g.a.'

Latest achievements:
- Completion of the 'Rain Water Harvesting' community development project in 2022. This project was financed by the Caribbean Development Bank and assigned to Stichting Fonds Ontwikkeling Binnenland (executing agency). As member of the project execution team I was responsible for the administration and financial management of the project in compliance with the project agreement. Additionally, I provided input in other project areas such as provision of training in administration to communities.
- As part of the project execution unit, currently (2023) active in the finale stage of the project 'Setting up of a Ginger Processing Unit'. The objective of this project is to enable local farmers to expand their ginger produce, provide processing options and expand their revenue opportunities through the physical setup of a processing unit.
