Professional Experience:
Having 20 years of experience in humanitarian and development logistics context, health system strengthening and specifically in warehousing, distribution and transport operations, including 10 years in leadership roles, I possess a comprehensive understanding of all aspects in transportation, fleet, equipment and warehouse management, making me potentially an interesting candidate for this position.
A few of my qualifications and professional experiences include:
• Implementation, technical advisory and leadership roles in the areas of Project management, supply chain management, laboratory logistics, transport, distribution and humanitarian assistance. Most of the projects I managed were funded by USAID PEPFAR and the President’s Malaria Initiative, with significant collaboration with the Global Fund.
• Strong experience managing fleet of various equipment (laboratory, Material handling equipment), subcontracted trucks with third party logistics (3PLs) and past experiences managing fleet of vehicles (Bioforce and MSF).
• Ensuring strong coordination and communication among multiple stakeholders such as donors, multilateral agencies, private sector, implementing partners, and Ministries of Health. I speak fluent English, French and Portuguese.
• Analytical and Strategic Top-Tier Leader and Team Contributor with 20 years of successful management and support of public health programs with nearly $90M in portfolio oversight. My expertise includes risk management, budget management, operation management, capacity strengthening, grant management, and coordination of project activities and technical assistance. I am highly skilled in organization and designing and implementing supply chain improvements from the central to health facility level, as well as capacity development of national counterparts and staff.
