Commercial Operations Manager
Climeworks is a leading high-quality carbon removal provider, combining decades of expertise in Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology with a holistic approach to carbon removal solutions. The company advises businesses on carbon removal strategies, offers tailored portfolios of nature-based and engineered approaches, and runs the world's first two DAC plants in Iceland.
As a Commercial & Business Operations Specialist, you will help build scalable operations across Climeworks Solutions, including the commercial, project sourcing and customer success teams. You will translate business needs into robust processes, tools, analytics and ways of working, and help design and scale digital products, including a platform enabling customers to manage and monitor their carbon removal portfolios.
Key responsibilities:
- Process & operational excellence: define and continuously improve processes across marketing, business development, sales, project sourcing and customer success; drive adoption through documentation, training and feedback loops.
- Business analysis & solution design: lead stakeholder meetings and workshops, map processes, define requirements and translate them into practical solutions; prioritise requests and manage trade-offs.
- Salesforce administration, marketing & sales tools: act as Salesforce Administrator for Climeworks Solutions, working with the Senior Salesforce Engineer and Tech team to configure, maintain and optimise commercial tools.
- Analytics, reporting & data quality: build reports and dashboards in Salesforce, Power BI and Microsoft tools; conduct ad-hoc analyses; own data quality controls.
- Project & change management: drive operational improvement initiatives, coordinate stakeholders and communicate outcomes.
- Knowledge management: develop and maintain an internal knowledge base of processes, tools and enablement materials.
Requirements:
- University degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Science, Engineering, Sustainability or a related field, and at least 5 years of experience in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment such as consulting, technology, scale-ups or startups.
- Experience in business analysis, revenue operations, commercial excellence, product management or similar roles.
- Hands-on Salesforce administration experience (permissions, configuration, validation rules, flows, reporting, dashboards); experience integrating commercial technology stacks, ideally including marketing automation, CRM extensions, reporting tools and ERP systems such as SAP. Salesforce Administrator certification is a plus.
- Strong stakeholder management, organisation and execution skills, ownership and a bias for action.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
