Stagiaire Grands Donateurs - H/F

ALIMA (Alliance for International Medical Action) is an international medical humanitarian NGO. Since 2009 it has treated more than 13 million patients and today operates in 12 African countries and Haiti, supporting national health authorities through hundreds of health facilities. The Paris and New York teams work on fundraising and representation.

Context: ALIMA is continuing its external resource mobilisation and is recruiting an intern in philanthropy and major donors. Based in Paris within the major donors team, you will help develop ALIMA's private resources by supporting prospecting, donor follow-up and the organisation of fundraising activities. The internship gives a full view of philanthropy issues within an international medical NGO.

Missions: Reporting to the Major Donors and Partnerships team at the Paris office (20th arrondissement), you assist the Major Donor Relations Officer in delivering the fundraising strategy, mainly in France and possibly Europe. You will:
- Research and analyse major donor prospects and philanthropic networks
- Help identify and qualify new prospects in line with the team's development priorities and the campaign committee's networks
- Prepare briefing sheets, meeting notes and materials for prospecting and donor loyalty activities
- Help update and maintain the quality of data in donor relationship tracking tools
- Help prepare fundraising campaigns and communication actions aimed at major donors
- Help prepare reports, reviews and materials for donors
- Support the logistics of prospecting, loyalty and fundraising events

Profile: Master 2 student (university, IEP, business or communication school) specialising in international solidarity, NGO management, marketing/communication or project management. A first association experience or internship in international solidarity is a real asset. Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Google Workspace; ease with a CRM or Canva appreciated. Strong interest in humanitarian action and/or medical missions. Excellent writing, research, analysis and synthesis skills. English level B2. Rigour, intellectual curiosity, excellent interpersonal skills and team spirit.

Conditions: Internship agreement (convention de stage) required; 6 months; Paris 20e; legal internship stipend (about 4.35 €/hour, roughly 650-700 € net per month); 50% public transport (Navigo) reimbursement plus meal vouchers. The post involves contact with vulnerable people, so a criminal record check or equivalent is required.
