By working closely with scientists from various disciplines, you will support studies under the highest ethical standards and make a direct contribution to health research. The tasks in animal husbandry are so diverse that we can make good use of every helping hand and also the second. Weekend and holiday assignments are necessary in compliance with the applicable rest periods.

YOUR VARIOUS TASKS WILL INCLUDE:
• Professional care and cleaning of modern animal husbandry ("IVC husbandry")
• Monitoring and monitoring of the health and welfare of the animals
• Execution of all work in accordance with the applicable SOPs (Standard Operating Procedure) as well as quality, hygiene and animal welfare requirements
• Daily disinfection and preparation work of the animal husbandry rooms, cage systems and working materials
• Assumption of regular animal inspections and care assignments on weekends and public holidays

YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
• Successfully completed training as a laboratory animal keeper EFZ (or completed LTK 1) and experience with laboratory animals
• High reliability, sense of responsibility and strong powers of observation
• Clear, goal-oriented and addressee-oriented communication
• Physical resilience, no allergies and willingness to do physical work
• Ability to stay focused and calm even in stressful situations
• Very good oral language skills in German and English
