Professional Experience:

With over a decade of international experience in project management, asylum services, and cultural mediation, I’ve built a diverse and adaptable career centered around human rights, communication, and cross-cultural engagement. My work has taken me across Europe—including Italy, Cyprus, Greece, and the Netherlands—where I’ve had the privilege of supporting vulnerable populations and leading teams in dynamic, high-pressure environments.

Currently, I serve as an Intermediate Asylum Registration Expert with the European Union Agency for Asylum (EUAA) in Italy. In this role, I support and coordinate registration procedures, enhance service quality, and manage interpretation logistics. I am responsible for quality control in the registration process and contribute to vulnerability screening and Dublin assessments. My ability to balance detailed administrative tasks with human-centered support is one of the key strengths I bring to this work.

Previously, I worked with EUAA in Cyprus, where I was involved in a wide range of responsibilities including principal and group registrations, face-to-face interactions with applicants, and simultaneous interpretation between Farsi, Dari, and English. I also supported document submissions and interview arrangements, and translated official materials such as educational credentials.

In Greece, as an interpreter and cultural mediator with ITC Cooperative on Lesvos and Kos islands, I provided interpretation services for asylum interviews, medical consultations, and psychological sessions. I played a vital role in supporting applicants throughout the registration and reception process, using my language skills and cultural understanding to help bridge communication gaps in a multicultural, often challenging environment.

Earlier in my career, I worked with the Foundation of Opera San Francesco in Milan as an Alternative Dispute Resolution Coordinator. There, I interpreted for psychological and psychiatric sessions, assisted with legal and welfare documentation, and actively participated in cultural initiatives and publications aimed at improving communication between practitioners and patients from diverse backgrounds.

In addition to my humanitarian work, I’ve held roles in the private sector, including Vice Manager at a luxury retail brand in Milan’s fashion district. I managed store operations, organized events, and liaised with international clients—developing strong organizational and customer service skills.

I also bring creative expertise from my time as a content creator and production coordinator in the media and advertising industries, where I worked on branding, video editing, and event planning in both Italy and the Netherlands.

Throughout my career, I’ve leveraged my multilingual abilities—fluent in Persian, Dari, English, Italian, and conversational in Greek and German—and my strong intercultural communication skills to ensure inclusive, efficient service delivery. I’m passionate about creating environments where diverse voices are heard and respected, and I thrive in roles that combine leadership, empathy, and precision.

Education:

I hold a Master’s degree in Multimedia from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan, Italy, where I graduated with top honors and a score of 110+/110. This program gave me in-depth knowledge of multimedia production, including graphic design, video editing, content creation, and visual storytelling. It also sharpened my skills in creative software and digital media, allowing me to approach complex communication challenges with both artistic vision and technical precision.

Before that, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from the University of Tehran, graduating with a score of 18/20. My undergraduate studies focused on the fundamentals of visual arts, creative processes, and critical analysis. It was during this time that I developed a strong foundation in artistic expression and began to understand how visual culture can impact social and emotional narratives.

Both degrees have shaped how I engage with the world professionally and creatively. My academic path has equipped me not only with technical skills but also with a broader cultural perspective—skills I’ve applied throughout my work in humanitarian services, cultural mediation, and project coordination. Whether designing content, interpreting across languages, or managing international projects, I draw daily on the training I received in both programs.

My education also deeply influences my personal interests, such as painting, music, and participating in cultural initiatives. I believe that my formal training in the arts allows me to connect with people from diverse backgrounds, especially in environments where empathy, creativity, and clear communication are essential.

Lifelong learning has always been important to me, and I continue to build on this educational foundation with every new experience I take on.

Affiliations and Achievements:

Alongside my professional roles in humanitarian services and interpretation, I’ve always nurtured a deep passion for the arts, cinema, and creative expression. With a Master’s degree in Multimedia from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera, I’ve actively pursued projects that fuse technical skill with artistic vision. I’ve created several short films, both artistic and commercial, and have participated in various courses, workshops, and collaborative productions related to art and cinema.

I have hands-on experience in all stages of filmmaking—from concept development and camera operation to editing and post-production. I understand how to use different cameras for specific cinematic purposes, adapting techniques based on the mood, location, and message of each piece. My technical proficiency includes a strong command of the Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop, which I use for video editing, graphic design, and visual storytelling.

Beyond digital tools, I have a background in manual drawing and design, using a variety of materials and techniques. Whether creating illustrations, visual concepts, or designing promotional materials, I bring both traditional and digital creativity to the table. My work in advertising and multimedia content creation has helped shape visual campaigns and strengthen communication strategies for diverse audiences.

Personally, I am deeply passionate about traveling and discovering new cultures. Having visited over 20 countries, I find constant inspiration in learning about different ways of life, traditions, and artistic expressions. This openness to new experiences enhances my cultural sensitivity, which I carry into every professional and creative environment I’m part of.

I consider myself a multitasker with a natural ability for problem-solving. I thrive in dynamic environments where flexibility and fast thinking are essential. Whether managing a team, supporting vulnerable individuals, or working under pressure, I approach challenges with calm, creativity, and determination. I also take pride in my spirit of teamwork—I enjoy collaborating with others, exchanging ideas, and contributing to shared goals with positivity and respect.

These qualities—combined with my artistic foundation, technical skills, and international experience—define who I am both personally and professionally. They continue to drive me toward meaningful projects that combine creativity, communication, and cultural understanding.
